- Official channel: in WeChat, search for the official "长白山" account or mini-program. Choose the slope, date and entry time slot, then enter each visitor's ID. Foreigners use their passport number.
- Agency option: English-language platforms such as Trip.com sell scenic-area tickets. They're easier for foreign cards, but check which items are included.
- Arrive in your slot: entry is checked against your ID. Bring the passport you booked with.
Avoiding sold-out days
- Book as soon as your date opens, especially for July–August weekends and the 1–7 October Golden Week.
- Pick the earliest slot. It gives you the best weather odds for Tianchi and time for everything else.
- Keep a flexible second day, so a sold-out or bad-weather day doesn't end your trip.
Weather closures and refunds
The summit section, and occasionally whole routes, can close for wind, fog or snow. Rules on refunds and rebooking depend on the channel and the reason for closure. Read them before paying, and ask at the gate which sections are open that day.
